Florence Baby xD

Noniin, nyt kun matkasta on jo mennyt yli kuukausi (hups) vois olla aika tehä siitä blogipostaus! Elikkäs meikäpoika oli opintomatkalla Firenzessä tuossa 20.- 27.2.2016 ja sielä oli ihan mahtavaa. Laitan nyt tässä ihan sikana kuvia ja selitän samalla mitä niissä tapahtuu ja teen sen suomeks sekä englanniks koska tää postaus toimii samalla mun portfoliona tästä matkasta :)

Alright, so now that it has already been over a month (woops) it's time to make a blogpost about my trip! So I went on an educational trip to Florence in 20.-27.2.2016 and it was AWESOME. Now I'm going to put lots and lots of pics and explaining what happens in them and I'm going to do it in Finnish and English because this post will also be my portfolio on this trip :)

Firenzeen kun saavuttiin, kirjauduttiin hotelli Machiavelliin, missä jaoin huoneen kolmen luokkalaiseni kanssa. Ihme kyllä huonen ainoasta kylppäristä ei tullut kertaakaan tappelua.

When we arrived to Florence, we checked in hotel Machiavelli, where I shared a room with 3 of my classmates. Surprisingly we never once had to fight over our only bathroom.

Meidän koulu oli yhteistyössä Firenzen Liceo Artistico Statale di Porta Romana:n ja Sheffieldin Hillsborough College of Fine Arts:in kanssa ja me menimme siis joka päivä tuonne koululle työskentelemään.

Our school was collaborating with Florences Liceo Artistico Statale di Porta Romana and Hillsborough College of Fine Arts from Sheffield and we went to that school everyday to work on a project.

Meille näytettiin esimerkkejä taittelutaiteesta, ja eri artisteista jotka käyttävät sitä.

They showed us examples of folding art, and of different artists whom use it.







Taiteilijat olivat käyttäneet taidemuotoa mm. arkkitehtuurissa, muodissa ja sisustuksessa.




The artists had used this particular art form in architecture, fashion and interior design among other things.

 Oli hienoa kuinka pelkästä paperista sai suhteellisen pienellä vaivalla niin eläväisen näköisen.


It was wonderful how a piece of paper transformed into something livelier with relatively small trouble.

 Ensimmäinen oma yritykseni ei mennyt ihan niin putkeen xDD

My own piece didn't go as well on my first try xDD 

 Anygays, kun meille oli selitetty miten taittelutaide toimii meidät jaettiin ryhmiin, missä oli 3-4 italialaista oppilasta, yksi suomalainen ja yksi brittiläinen oppilas. Kommunikaatio oli vähän niin ja näin, mutta lopulta siitäkin selvittiin käsiä huitomalla xD

 Anyways, when we had been explained to how the folding art works we were put into groups that had 3 to 4 italian students, one finnish and one british student. Communication was kind of not there but eventually we managed with a lot of waving around and signing xD

Käytiin Michelangelon aukiolla sitten kun päästiin ekana koulupäivänä.

 Seuraava päivä toi tullessaan projektimme aloituksen. Tehtävänä oli siis luoda jokin tuote, jossa käytettiin taittelutaidetta osana designia. Meidän ryhmä päätti tehdä repun, joka muuttuu taittaessa käsilaukuksi ja/tai kun ottaa sulkuläpän pois, niin ostoskassiksi. Minä tein designeja sulkuläpälle, ensimmäiset vaihtoehdot näette alla.

 The next day marked the start of our project. The assignment was to create a product, that had folding art as a part of the design. Our group decided to make a backbag, that folded into a purse, or if you removed the closing flap it became a shopping bag. I made designs to the closing flap and the first ideas are shown below.

 Seuraavana päivänä käytiinkin sitten Bobolin puutarhassa, mikä alko ihan siitä koulun vierestä ja jatku pitkälle kaupungin keskustaan.

 The next day we went to the Boboli Gardens, which started right next to the school and continued way into the city center.

Anygays mulla on jotain tuhat ja yksi kuvaa tästä putarhasta, enkä tod laita tänne niit kaikkia mut pointti on se et tää on iha sika iso ja täynnä patsaita ja tällänen on vaan täällä keskellä kaupunkia ja must se on aika tosi hienoo. Ja tuossa on nyt si kuvaa siitä palatsista tai kartanosta tai mistälie minkä ympärille tää koko puutarha on rakennettu.

 Anyways I've got like a thousand and one pics of this garden and I'm so not going to put all of them here but the point is that this place is hella big and full of statues and all this is just sitting in the middle of the Florence and that's hella awesome. And here's a couple of pics of the palace or manor or whatever that this garden has been built around of.

 Ai nii ja jossain tuol puuarhan mailla oli myös posliinimuseo xP

Oh right and somewhere in the garden was also a porcelain museum xP

 Nättiä oli.


It was so pretty.

 Samana päivänä mentiin myös Ferragamo museoon, eli kuuluisan italialaisen kenkäsuunnittelijan inspiroimaan museoon.






We went to a Ferragamo museum at the same day, a museum inspired by a famous italian shoe designer.

Sitten me mentiin vielä Palazzo Vecchioon kiertelemään ja kaikki tää oli samana päivänä, voitte uskoo et mun jalat oli entiset tän reissun jälkeen. 

 Then we went to Palazzo Vecchio and all this was during the same day, you can believe me my feet were so done after that day. 

 Siin pihal oli tämmönen, oli hiano.

There was this thing in front of it, I like it.

 Ja näitä ihanuuksia oli seinät ja katot täynnä.

The walls and roofs were full of these lovelies.

 Jotkut kattomaalaukset tosin esitti ihan tarinoita, ite tunnistin katosta kokoelman Herculeen urotöistä.




Some of the frescos did actually reflect stories, I myself recognised a collection of the labors of Hercules on one particular roof.

But I have almost as many pics of this place as I have of the garden so how about we just move along now xDD

Ok no tää vielä, ko päivän päätteeks käytiin vie Disney-kaupassa



Okay one more, when we visited the Disney-store at the end of the day.









Kolmantena päivänä me käytiin yhteyskoulumme yhteistyökumppanin ARTEXin pytingissä missä meille selitettiin vähän miten käsi- ja taideteollisuusala toimii, ja erilaisista suunnittelu ja valmistus prosesseista. Tällasia designeja sieltä löyty esillä.

On the third day, we visited our collaboration schools associate ARTEX co, where we were told how the crafts and design line of field works and of different kinds of designing and crafting processes. These are the designs that were on the show.

 Käytiin myös Vespa museossa sinä päivänä. Laitan ny muutaman kuvan koska jälleen kerran niitä on ihan sika paljon. 

We also went to the Vespa museum that day. I'm going to put only a few pics here because once more I took a ton of them.

Sitten suunnattiinkin Pisaan tornia kattoon. Oli hauska huomata että yksikään pylväs koko pystissä ei ollut samaa paria xDD

Then we went to Pisa, to stare at the famous tower. It was fun to notice that not one pillar in the whole thing was like the other xDD

 Neljäntenä päivänä päästiin sitten taas prokkiksen tekoon ja minä aloin tekemään sitä sulkuläppää oikein kunnolla. Päätettiin ryhmän kanssa että tehdään kukkakuosista muutama eri versio ja laitetaan niihin taustalle eri värejä ja sitten niitä voi sitten vaihdella oman maun mukaan.

On the fourth day we got to continue the project and I started making the closing flaps with a real conviction. We decided with the group that we should make few different models of the flower design and put different colors on their backrounds so that one could change them to suit their own tastes.

 Sinä päivänä koulun jälkeen minä ja pari muuta suomalaista käytiin museo Uffitzissa ja joo en ees ala sielä oli maalauksia mm. Botticellilta ja Sanziolta ja DaVincilta ja vaikka keiltä. Kolme kerrosta ihan sika isossa rakennuksessa, voitte uskoo et mul on muutama kuva sieltä joten mä en ees ala ja teille saa luvan riittää se tieto et mä kävin sielä, ja mun vakuutus siitä että jos teillä on mahdollisuus niin kannattaa ehottomasti käydä sielä.

That day after school I and a couple of other finnish visited Uffitzi museum and yeah I can't even there were paintings at least from Botticelli and Sanzio and DaVinci and so many more. Three floors in a hella big building, you can believe me when I say I have a few pics from that place so I'm not even going to try to sort them out. You all can just take my word for it, I went there and I assure you if you ever get the chance to go Uffitzi please do.

Ok sori mä valehtelin, yks kuva. Tää on vika minkä otin sie museos ja ah tää on niin ihana toi muija näyttää niin skandalisoituneelta xD

Okey sorry I lied, one pic. This is the last one I took in the museum and oh this is so lovely that woman looks just so scandalized xD

Anygays, näin tulee viimeisen päivän aika ja tuotteemme esittely. Tosin lopulta me päätettiin vaan suosiolla poistaa se pikkulaukku osio yhtälöstä ja niinhän se meni et meillä on nyt reppu, josta saa sulkuläpän ja kantohihnat poistettaessa ostoskassin. Söpö on <3


Anyways, so comes our last day and the presentation of our product. In the end we deleted the clutch bag portion of the design and so it was that we had made a backbag that transformed into a shopping bag by removing the closing flap and the straps. It's cute alright <3

Nonnih siinä oli iha sika pitkä ja kuvantäyteinen kertomus mun matkasta Firenzeen, pian on meidän suomalaisten vuoro kestitä italialaisia ja brittiläisiä et laitan siitä sitten taas. Elkää huoliko se ei luultavasti tuu oleen läheskään yhtä pitkä ko tää xP

Alright that was my super long and picture full story of my trip to Florence, soon it is the time of us finnish to host italians and british so I'll put something about it in here again. Don't worry, it's probably not going to be as long as this one xP
